Last year we carved pumkins 2 weeks before halloween and they sofened up and rotted away. So this year we did it the Saturday before Halloween just to be sure they would be good through Halloween. Zander liked the pumpkins until we tried to get him to help up pull the innerds out, he thought it was a little slimey for him and ended up coloring him mini pumpkin. He gladly allowed mommy and daddy to do all the dirty work. But we snapped a few pictures before he disappeared. Brian and I had a lot of fun though!
